Canon FD Rehoused by TLS
The Canon FD lenses were manufactured from the early 1970s through the late 1980s. These lenses soared in popularity once it was understood that they were a close match to the legendary Canon K-35 cine lenses. One of the only true cine lenses from the vintage era to cover full frame sensors. However, the Canon FDs were useless to the cine world as they were designed for stills photography. This is why TLS took on the challenge to rehouse these lenses. Not only do they offer an affordable equivalent to the Canon K-35s, but they can also be used to increase the focal lengths on offer for the limited K-35 range.
During the rehousing process, TLS introduce a circular iris (14-16 blades depending on size) which gives a smooth circular bokeh at any aperture setting. This gives the lenses a more distinctive, cinematic look while also matching the style of the Canon K-35 iris. The new housing is also designed using our non-linear cam focus system across the entire range, including the floating element designs.

ARRI-Zeiss Standard
ARRI-Zeiss Standard Speeds arrived between 1964 and 1975. They were designed for use with Arriflex film cameras and offer a smooth pleasing image with cool color rendition and medium contrast.
n
nSmall size, good sharpness and contrast, and a large selection of focal lengths have kept these lenses relevant even today, adding a filmic quality to digital cameras. They are often used as a slightly less sharp and less contrasty alternative to modern lenses. -

ZEISS SUPREME RADIANCE
Zeiss Supreme Prime Radiance lenses enable cinematographers to create beautiful, consistent and controlled flares in the image while maintaining contrast and avoiding transmission loss. Yet, they offer all attributes of a modern cinema lens: large-format coverage, high speed, robustness and smooth and reliable focus.
Zeiss Supreme Prime Radiance lenses are all T1.5. Although being slightly warmer than regular Supreme Primes, they pair very well with them.
The Supreme Primes Radiance are a modification of the original Supreme Prime. They offer the same features as the original Supremes, but feature a different coating process which enhances and controls flares without loss of contrast or T-stop.

The Leica-R lenses are renowned for their sharp, non-clinical resolution mixed with good contrast and subtly warm colours. The bokeh is smooth when wide open, but still produces the iconic look when stopped down. This is the reason why TLS use the original iris during the rehousing process.
